Dear Friends & Partners for the expansion of the Gospel of Christ:

RAPM Board continues to meet and to strategize for the various ministries under its care. May we share what has been done and what is planned for the future.

GEORGE WORK: After Winter School in Cape Town (July 2015), 4 RAPM members with Pastor Hartze, and Pastor Claude Barnes, visited George. We spent time on Saturday 11 th July with Pastor Dave in a time of evaluation and updating of the church planting effort. Pastor Dave has been busy supervising renovation and extension work on his house. When completed, there will be an upstairs room for Youth meetings, which he hopes to start again. We shared in the morning service (Pastor Matham preaching) as well as an evening cottage meeting (Brother Louw preaching). Pastor Claude Barnes has settled in as an Assistant Pastor with Riverlea EBC. RAPM will continue supporting Claude with R1500 per month, and Riverlea has taken the bulk of his support. They also covered his costs for Winter School.

ZIMBABWE: Pastor Tedayo’s health has improved, but he still needs our prayers. Pastor Mervyn Matthews visits him for prayer and fellowship. The Mbizo church where Tedayo serves, he serves, is trusting God for funds to purchase a vehicle and a tent. RAPM and the EBC National Council are part of the support team of the Tedayo family. RAPM is discussing a missions trip to Zimbabwe in 2016.

MISSIONS CONFERENCE: 17 th-19 th July 2015. Saturday 18 th July was a blessed day as Pastors Claude Barnes, Brian Marrian and Sam Reddy shared their missionary vision. Shameemah, a convert from Islam, also shared her testimony. On Sunday 19 th July, Brother Cliff from Open Doors, shared concerning the persecuted church in the Middle East. From the love offerings (R5,000+) we were able to give love gifts to the speakers & Open Doors

CENTURION CHURCH PLANT: The Gauteng RC & RAPM are prayerfully considering this area as a joint venture for a new church plant. Let’s pray for God’s direction and supply. If we believe that God wants us to plant a new church in Gauteng (Centurion or another area) we must trust God to supply through His children so that a church planter can be called.

*RAPM meeting with Gauteng Ladies: RAPM has been asked to take the Gauteng Ladies’ Meeting and to have a missionary emphasis in February 2016. Our presentation will include an audio-visual power point, plus a report on other RAPM events.

*LESOTHO TRIP: We are thinking of the possibility of more regular trips to Lesotho. Repairs to the Lesotho house are completed and the jo-jo water tank has been fitted. The house now has 12 new mattresses, plus other furnishings including a sleeper couch. It appears that Children’s and Youth meetings are well attended, and this may be an area of ministry to consider in this needy place. RAPM plans a Saturday visit to see the Malepas and to discuss our future involvement in Lesotho.

*MOZAMBIQUE TRIP: RAPM is planning a week-end trip to Mozambique before end of 2015. The activities will include Basic Theolgy and Leadership training.
